FUNCTIONS & VENUES
The Umhlali Country Club offers a variety of versatile conference and wedding facilities that cater for varying groups up to 150 guests.
Function Hall (130-150 pax)
The Function Hall is the ideal venue for meetings, parties, corporate functions and weddings. The hall has stacking doors opening out onto a paved courtyard The room is equipped with a big screen/ projector and is well ventilated and fully air conditioned.
The Function Hall also provides a perfect spot to host kiddie’s birthday parties especially if you are not sure what the weather is doing. The club has a selection of jumping castles which are included in venue hire fee
Boardroom (15-30 pax)
The Boardroom is suitable for smaller meetings, presentations and AGM’s. It can seat up to 15 people around a table and 30 people cinema style. The room is equipped with a plasma TV that allows for presentations and is fully air conditioned.
The Annex (10-30 pax)
The Annex provides an alternative venue to the Boardroom. Nestled between the Halfway House and the Club House, it offers opportunities for smaller functions with a maximum of 30 guests. The venue has a casual and relaxed atmosphere with doors on one side opening out onto a paved garden area and another set of doors that open into the bar. The room is equipped with a plasma TV for presentations.
The Halfway House is an informal café for the members, residents living on the Estate, as well as visitors.
Dining at the Club
An A La Carte menu is served in the bar and on the verandah at the Club House. With breakfasts, wraps, salads, fish and chips and steak, it covers a range of delicious, affordable options to suit all palettes. No booking is required and the menu is on offer daily from 7:30 – 16:30 to 18:30 – 20:30.
Catering at the Club is provided by Mamma G’s caterers who are committed to supplying quality food and excellent customer service. Menus can be tailor made for all function making catering for special occasions, corporate events and weddings effortless.
Their strong team have passion for what they do and are lead by their new Head Chef Lee Stander with one of his creations.
