AT THE NET
Our Dolphin Coast Primary schools team took part in the KZN District trials last weekend in Pietermaritzburg. Although our team was placed fifth out of the six teams in the A Section, our top boy and girl, namely Brad Porteous and Maxine Bateman were selected for the KZN A team with Maxine taking the number 1 spot in the team after winning all her singles matches. Brad lost only to Durban’s hot shot player, Gavin Morris, but Brad and Maxine managed to beat Gavin Morris and Kirsty Higgs in the mixed doubles, a great win against two players both ranked above them in S.A.
